End of October

I'm finally getting back to this blogging thing and hope to be much better about it now... that is until the baby comes! Eli and I voted today for whom may be our next president, senator, mayor, city council member, and more. We waited patiently for about an hour and a half and made it through thanks to a little girl in front of us named Carly with whom we shared our lollipops, sweet tarts, and pomegranate seeds.

On a more exciting note, October ended with a bang with Halloween festivities all around! We took part in a Stroller Strides Halloween party, the Zoo Boo, and of course Halloween trick or treating with friends Caden, Camden, Caylee, Brandon, and Charlton (Eli's friends!). Weekend Fun

This past weekend was full of fun including a visit from GiGi and Griff and a dinner party at the Barba's! The boys (minus Eli) did some fishing Saturday morning and had some bites but no keepers. In the evening we made our way to the Barba's house for a little get together. Maddie, Eli, and Gavin played so well with shopping carts, strollers, the slide, and the babies DVD. The end of the night even included couch jumping and a dance party with Maddie and Eli shaking it to "Disturbia" and "Shake! Shake!"

New adventures

Today is my first adventure in the world of blogging but I hope it proves to be fun and keep everyone up to date on the happenings of the Griffin household! It has been an interesting week here considering Eli is getting over being ill (probably the worst I've seen with him so far). We are looking forward to a fun fall weekend with GiGi and Griff after spending a wet but exciting beach week with Nana and Brad last week in Sandbridge!
